Drum Screen for Pulp and Paper Making

The drum screen is a crucial screening device in waste paper pulping production lines, located after the pulper. It separates larger light impurities from the pulped material, reducing the load on subsequent fine screening equipment such as pressure screens and desanders.
Drum screens are typically used in conjunction with impurity separators to form a highly efficient coarse screening system. After the pulp from the D-type hydraulic pulper is processed by the impurity separator, the tailings enter the drum screen for further screening, ultimately separating the light impurities completely from the pulp.
Drum screens require less motor power and have lower operating costs, making them a highly cost-effective screening solution in pulping production lines. Please contact us by email for more information. Email address: pulperchina@gmail.com
