Guangxi customer purchased Leizhan’s pulping equipment, and the double disc refiner and supporting accessories were shipped to Guangxi on September 15, 2023. The Double Disc Refiner is a type of pulp refining equipment used in the pulp and paper industry. It is used to refine pulp stock and improve pulp quality by reducing the size of fibers and increasing the consistency of the pulp.

 

The Double Disc Refiner consists of two counter-rotating discs with serrated bars or plates attached to their surfaces. The pulp stock is fed into the refiner between the discs, where it is subjected to high-pressure and shear forces as it passes through the narrow gaps between the bars or plates. This action causes the fibers to be fibrillated and fragmented, resulting in a more uniform and homogeneous pulp consistency.
